I posted this yesterday, but it disappeared when I edited the tags. I normally hate re-posting stuff because I need to write everything down all over again (and I always end up writing something completely different, and so my original post is lost forever), but this is worth it. I love getting published. It feels new every time. Okay I’m cheesy :))
Yesterday, an article I wrote came out in the Philippine Star. It’s titled “Monsters in Your Love Story” and it features the independent film Saving Sally. I got to interview Charlene Sawit, who wrote the short story on which the movie was based, and Enzo Marcos, the lead actor (he stars opposite Rhian Ramos).
I hope you were able to get a copy — my article’s full of funny quotes and anecdotes from the two. They’re very fun people, and Sally looks like a very fun movie. It’s a love story, but with monsters, gadgets and walking penises.
Catch it when it comes out okay? I know I will.

Shameless Plug of the Day: Everyone, please get a copy of today’s Philippine Star! I wrote about the indie film Saving Sally for Young Star in a piece entitled “Monsters in Your Love Story”. It isn’t out yet, but the trailers are very promising! The article features quotes and funny stories from Sally’s creator, Charlene Sawit and the lead actor Enzo Marcos. Saving Sally’s got romance, 2D monsters, gadgets, walking penises and lots more.
Do watch it when it comes out — I know I will!
